Terms and Conditions
We are delighted to welcome you to STEM Builders. We ask that you review these guidelines before signing up. By participating in our programs, you agree to follow these core business protocols.
1. Class Enrollment
Admission to STEM Builders depends on availability. We maintain the right to adjust schedules or withdraw sessions should unexpected circumstances occur. Though age brackets are advised, we allow for flexibility based on your child's development. Please chat with our staff to ensure your learner is in the right spot.
2. Payment and Refunds
To guarantee your student's place in our group sessions, we require full payment during the registration process. As places are quite restricted, we cannot refund missed workshops. Should we need to cancel, for example due to adverse weather or staff illness, a makeup date will be offered. In the event a class is voided due to low numbers, you will receive a refund.
3. Health and Illness Policy
• We request that children stay home if experiencing high temperatures, nausea, or infectious illnesses such as the flu or chickenpox. We adhere to NHS protocols requiring a 48-hour absence following the final instance of symptoms.
• Students should be free of all symptoms for 24 hours without fever-reducing aids before returning.
• To ensure the safety of all, STEM Builders may request an early pickup should a child feel unwell in class.
4. Participation and Supervision
• For Story Builders, a parent or guardian must remain present to supervise their little one and assist with tools.
• During Code Builders, kids work on their own but must follow the teacher's rules; disruptive conduct may result in dismissal. Students will be dismissed only to authorized adults listed at registration. Please notify the instructor immediately of any changes to the collection plan.
5. Intellectual Property
All teaching materials, prototype designs, and software files created in our studio are the exclusive property of STEM Builders. Copying or sharing these assets without our prior consent is strictly prohibited.
6. Media and Photography
Periodically, we capture images or film during workshops for our marketing and educational displays. You may choose your preference on the signup form and update us should your choice change.
Feel free to document your own child's progress with photos. If other students are visible in your footage, please be sure you have obtained the consent of their parents or guardians first.
7. Changes to Terms and Conditions
STEM Builders reserves the right to update these terms at any time. When changes occur, we will update this page and, for significant revisions, notify active members via the email provided at enrollment.
